AIM

The project aims to raise awareness and build capacity among youth to practice responsible consumption through a balanced approach that addresses both digital and offline behaviors. It promotes the integration of social, environmental, and ethical considerations into everyday decisions, including purchasing choices, media consumption, and nutrition. By encouraging young people to reflect on what they buy, what they eat, what they watch, what they do, and how they interact with their environment, the project seeks to foster a strong sense of “Your Response” among youth to address and act against rising climate challenges..

Objectives

  • Equip youth with the skills and knowledge needed to make informed and balanced consumption choices in both digital and offline contexts.

  • Improve young people’s ability to critically evaluate media content and make ethical consumption decisions influenced by digital media and marketing.

  • Strengthen environmental leadership among at-risk youth who are particularly vulnerable to media and marketing influence.

  • Develop a gamified booklet to introduce and practice “YOUR RESPONSE” techniques among diverse groups of young people.

  • Connect marginalized youth in Portugal, Estonia, and Croatia with the European Union Green Deal policies and relevant national sustainability strategies.

  • Organize an international training program for youth workers to test and enhance competencies in applying “YOUR RESPONSE” techniques.

  • Conduct three pilot training sessions to refine these techniques and transfer them effectively to youth learners.
